A variety of small, hand-crafted clothes hang along a makeshift clothing rack. The outfits are too small to be worn, but their colorful opulence, variety, and worn-in quality suggest lives lived and personal histories. LeDray intentionally creates objects that feel familiar while also just slightly unusual. In this grey area he creates space for mystery and wonder, prompting viewers to speculate about what other stories surround the wearers of these clothes we’ve happened upon in the gallery.
