Gain professional museum experience, learn valuable skills, and build a network of lasting relationships through paid internships for a range of ages and student levels.

Whether you’re a rising high school senior, a college graduate continuing your education, or somewhere in between on your learning journey, Crystal Bridges and the Momentary offer diverse, hands-on opportunities for you to create career-defining experiences.

In addition to working in your primary job area, all interns experience a comprehensive overview of museum departments, providing a big-picture understanding of the many museum career options available.

Both undergraduate and graduate students can gain real-world, practical experience in a three-cohort internship model during the spring, summer, and fall. Whether students have already chosen their career paths or are still exploring options, they are encouraged to ask questions and seek guidance to support their future workforce goals. Interns will have the opportunity to “curate” their experiences by collaborating with their supervisors to develop a personalized plan no matter the division or department.

Residential positions are offered exclusively during the summer and are contingent upon available funding. Selected interns who reside at least one hour from Crystal Bridges or the Momentary will receive housing and relocation assistance. A diverse range of positions is eligible for this housing support.

The emerging workforce, particularly high school students, make EXCELLENT interns and contributors to all of our hosting intern departments. High school interns throughout the Northwest Arkansas area are encouraged to apply!
