Two Moons - Cheyenne

Edward Curtis wrote: "Two Moons was one of the Cheyenne chiefs at the Battle of the Little Bighorn in 1876, when Custer's command was annihilated by a force of Sioux and Cheyenne." Following the battle, Two Moons visited Washington, DC, several times to fight for better living conditions on the Cheyenne reservation. In 1914, he met with President Woodrow Wilson to discuss these matters.
