September Sunshine
La casa situada en el verdor del Sol de septiembre, era la propia casa del artista. Nostálgico por la paz y belleza pintoresca de la vida campestre, Twachtman compró una granja situada en 17 acres de terreno en Greenwich, Connecticut, alrededor de 1890. Después de realizar varias adiciones a la casa, la representó en muchas pinturas y durante todas las estaciones. Brillantes hojas doradas y un césped verde rodean la casa, haciendo que forme parte de un entorno idílico.
